Nordic Saxophone Collective

The Nordic Saxophone Collective (NSC) is a voluntary association founded in 2019, based in Aarhus, Denmark. It consists of Saxophone players, teachers, and students active in the Nordic region who share the same passion and ambition for new music of our time. NSC pushes to expand and develop capacities and interests of Nordic saxophone literature in the member’s respective communities, countries, as well as bringing Nordic culture abroad.

With keen focus on education, community engagement, exploration, and development of next generation audiences, performers, and composers, NSC is committed to bringing contemporary Nordic music at the highest level to the audiences. NSC also serves as a platform for forming connections between saxophonists, composers and audiences, encouraging thoughtful dialogs, insights, and a sense of community within the Nordics and beyond.
